Bloodstone, also known as heliotrope, is a green stone with red spots (caused by iron oxide) and has protective and grounding qualities. The stone has a calming effect in case of annoyance, aggression and impatience and thus improves self-control. But the stone is also activating, invigorating and uplifting when tired. Heliotrope helps you to set limits and keep out negative influences. But at the same time it can help you to be more flexible and increase adaptability.
